Tons of Prints available
Since my last post I have made it my main focus to get my photos printed and available for purchase. Honestly, my last post was in October 2009 so a lot has happened since then, I mean A LOT! Let me re-cap a bit.
Click the image below to view the feature on Surfline. You can find a shot of mine from November 14th displayed on slide (24 of 27) . The photograph was taken in Long Beach, New York.
Early in December a big NW swell in the pacific produces 30-45ft faces for the Eddie Aikau Big Wave Ceremony in Hawaii. I got a call followed by a few mobile media messages of macking Waimea Bay from fellow Red Dawn Crew mate Greg Travers who currently resides in Haliewa a couple miles down the road. I decided to fly out to Oahu the following morning, I hoped to make it there for the best of the swell. Upon arrival we actually jumped out of a plane at 14,000 feet to get a real birds eye view of how the monster Eddie swell was looking. It just so happened that they ran most of the Pipe Masters competition during my stay and I witnessed competitive surfing in epic conditions at its best. This is Triple Overhead.
Without going into detail I spent 40 hours flying and hanging in the airport for a 6 day trip to Hawaii and the West Coast. I have a few dozen gigabytes of RAW files and an overloaded memory from my short Hawaii trip. Waiting at home was a large collection of new album sized prints I got just in time for Christmas once I made it back to New York. You can contact me by
e-mail: Econphotography@gmail.com to order your customized prints.
I am stoked on Surfrider Foundation using an image of mine in their new Global Surf Calendar for January 2010. I am also glad to get New York in there because it really is such a unique place to surf and live. Visit your local surf shop or www.surfcalendar.com to buy one today.
After an amazing Christmas spent with friends, family and my supportive girlfriend, I flew down to Puerto Rico for the New Year and got a good amount of photographs to file through. The first day I was there I took a photograph that Surfline wanted to run in their feature "Christmas Bonus"
The Next day.... My buddy and long time Red Dawn Crew member Dave Fava grabbed this wave on Zero hours of sleep, after a long night of partying.
Thanks for checking in to see a quick recap of whats been happening in the world of ECON.

The Seasons Fall In
Halloween is right around the corner, which is actually my favorite holiday. It just so happens that I was treated to a birthday on October 31st, so this is undoubtedly the best time of year for me. I have been busy working on a few new techniques I learned along with meticulously developing RAW images and cataloging hard drives of photographs. I will go into depth with some new ideas shortly. Enjoy this Pumpkin Patch in the meantime.

Oahu, Hawaii
I just got into hawaii 2 days ago and already I've seen hours of flawless barrels inside and out. I shot some photos yesterday in between sessions and grabbed a few of Jeff Hubbard and Spencer Skipper tearing it up and getting shacked today on the south shore. Sent a couple shots over.

Spring Semester 2009
It has been a quick year so far and I am just about to finish up my first semester at The Academy of Art. Aside from shooting surf photos and traveling back and forth from Puerto Rico and New York, I have been spending a lot of time studying different photographic styles and experimenting on new topics. Here are a couple of photographs I created for various assignments over the past few months.
